Thinking Maps in the Classroom.

Today we had a very unusual lesson. We described Australia with the help of three thninking maps: Bridge map, Circle map and Brace Map. The class was devided into three groups. Each group had to complete the maps given in a specific order. The Bridge map was for describing the nature of Australia with the structure "There is/are + adjective+noun". The Cicrle map was for defining wildlife and climate. They Brace map is for tourist activities. The students enjoyed the lesson. It was clear that they imagined this country differently. I hope we'll explore different countries in the nearest future.
